Excavation Underway
Progress continues to move steadily at our redevelopment site. Pilings are nearly complete, and excavation for the basement and foundation has officially begun.
Pilings are placed ahead of excavation to create a stable, load-bearing support system for the building. As the soil is removed for the basement, these deep supports prevent ground movement and ensure the foundation can be built safely and securely.
The new lift station has also been installed and will be switched over in the near future, and our jobsite trailer has arrived, giving the construction team a central base of operations.
The site is transforming quickly, and we’re excited to share more updates as work progresses.
